A pointless list of stuff
Omae no motomo taisetsu mono wa?
Window manager of choice: I hate them all.
OS: Linux.
Applications:- Text editor: Kate.
- Torrent: Ktorrent.
- Music: Amarok.
- Office Suite: Open office
- Browser: Firefox
- Graphics: Gimp
- IM: Kopete or Gaim. There ya go. I hate KDE but most of the softwear I use is K softwear.
Most Commonly Used Shell Commands:
- fortune
- go-fish

Books:
- Manual: Japanese Simplified
- Manga: Faeries landing by... uh... Someone. (Many FF refernces)
- Drawing: Manga & More Manga by Katy Coope. Good for begginers.
- Last read: Crown of Silence from Chronicals of Madrivandias, which I am reading in reverse order. Storm Constantine. Of the genre:
- Fantasy: Chronicles of Madravandias by... Uh, guess!
- Swords and Sorcery: The Grey Mouser (chronicles of Lankhmar) Fritz Leiber, closely seconded by Elric of Melebone (Michael Moorcock).
- Sci-Fi: Shade's Children Garth Nix (still reading) Seconded by Exodus (Julie Bergnetta) I like Sci-Fi distopias.
- Children's: Inkheart/spell - Cornelia Funke (who's written many good children's books)
- Wiccan: Nocturnal Witchcraft and Gothic Grimoire. Konstantinos. I just like Konstantinos; if you want to learn anything I recomend Wicca for Begginners by Thea Sabin.
- Author: Eva Ibosten. Most of her books are good.
- Most comforting: Spellfall - Kathrine Roberts.
- Funiest Author: Douglas Adams.
- Best Dramstised: Eddie Dickens by Philip Ardagh.
- Worst film version: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Gallaxy. (And this is a field in which there is much competition) Every inch of the visuals was wrong. The bowl of pertunias was miscast.
- Hurt-self most laughing: Crown of Silence (Storm Constantine). When he rolled a 6, and the rest of that chapter. It's not about how much you laugh, it;s about how badly it hurts.
- Own most copies of: Artemis Fowl 3 Eoin Colfer (3, one written on, one not)
- German: Tintenherz (which is Inkheart)
I own a stupidly large quantity of books. I have more books on my floor now than many of my peers have ever read. I've disposed of more books this year than many of my peers have ever owned. I love books.
Games:
- Overall: Arcanum.
- Card: Go-Fish.
- Graphics: 2D owns 3D in graphics. Design more important than quality. Text Adventures have the best graphics.
- Best intro: Baldurs gate.
- Style and concept: Planescape: Torment.
- Characters: Final Fantasy 7/8/9; can't not love them.
- RPG: Arcanum. (Windows)
- CRPG: Final Fantasy VII. (PS/ Windows)
- FPS: Deus-Ex. (Windows)
- RTS: Stronghold/Tropico joint. (Windows)
- Turn-Based Tactical: Hovendall Tactics. (f) (Windows)
- Text-Adventure: Bad-King (f) (Windows)
- Sim: Sims. The Sims 1. The Sims 2 is crappity crapple. (Windows)
- Fighter: Ehrgeiz (PS)
- Racing: Carmegeddon. (dos)
- Scroller: Halo Zero. (f) (Windows)
- Educational: KTouch. (f) (Linux)
- Puzzle: KFoulEggs. (f) (Linux)
- MUD: Discworld MUD (f) (Any)
- Online: Kingdom Of Loathing (f) (Any)
- MMORPG: I loathe MMO. I don't see the appeal, MMOs are as useless as Nintendo DS games. (f) is for free, asin beer.
Japanese sentance: "Ano mae no kuruma wa Toyota desu." The car in front is a Toyota. "Sensei wa honto ni ichigo jamu desu" The teacher is real strawberry jam.
Engrish: Either "She's just incredible math" or "Final Fantasy". (Lithium Flower from Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex; it DOES make sense, if you spend four minutes with a genius working it out, but it SOUNDS really engrish.)
Hentai Game: Bible Black: La Noche de Walpurgis.
Hentai Series: Discipline: The record of a Crusade.
Kind of erotica: Yaoi Manga.
FFVII Doujinshi: Haitoku No Tenshi, Neo-Delusion, Strays. (I generally like them dirtier, but these had good art)
On the Subject of Music:
- Band: The Sisters of Mercy
- Singer: Kate Bush
- Album: First Seventeen Seconds, Then Kiss me Kiss Me Kiss Me, both by the Cure.
- Song: Katayokou No Tenshi (One Winged Angel - Sephiroth's Theme) from FFVII, Nobou Uematsu.
- Aerith's Theme.
- Gary Numan.
- Astral Adventures by Darkseed.
- Nine Inch Nails. Dresden Dolls. A Perfect Circle.
- Best lyrics: The Sisters of Mercy. Kate Bush makes no sense, everyone else makes too much sense. Andrew strikes just the right ballance.
- Best lyric: "Hello Image, Sing me a line from your favorite song..." from M, Seventeen seconds, Cure.
- Best lyric-derived passwords: Ribbons, Vision Thing, the Sisters of Mercy. Great, now you can hack me. I still use my Ribbons passwords. However, my spelling is bad enough to enhance security. :p.
- Most evocative song: Book of Days by the Psycadelic Furs.
- I play a Squire Afinity, which is by far the crappest electric avaliable. it sounds alright so long as you take the wammy-bar off ^_^. It's a fender stratercaster wannabe. I play badly. The only song I can play is I Was Wrong.
- If I had to listen to one abum nonstop for the rest of my life, it would be Seventeen Seconds. At least that way I'd kill myself QUICKLY. Seventeen Seconds is an incomparibly beautifull collection of sublimely fantastic noises. I love it eternally. It's a rounded collection of every possible human emotion. But like hell do I need Kiss me Kiss me Kiss Me to cheer me up afterwards.
- Most religeously offensive song: Survivalism by Nine Inch Nails. If you let this song play in a shop or cafe and someone punches your face in, Hi and I'm sorry. It's offensive.
